MacLean-Fogg is hiring a CNC Operator for the Mooresville, North Carolina facility. In this role you will set up, operate, troubleshoot, and adjust CNC equipment to support precision, productivity, and consistent product quality, using blueprints and gaging tools.

You will contribute to process improvements and help guide less-experienced operators, with a focus on safety and 5S practices. This full-time position is on-site with a 2nd shift schedule and hourly pay of $21–$24.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to troubleshoot and address complex equipment or process issues.
• Working knowledge of CNC operations and related processes.
• Ability to interpret work instructions, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Intermediate mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to properly use and apply required gaging instruments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and mechanical equipment to support productivity, precision, and quality.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, adjustments, and programming to address machine issues and improve performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, and work instructions.
• Conduct quality-control checks using required gaging instruments.
• Complete required production and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area according to 5S standards.
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
• Support continuous process improvements and mentor junior operators.
