Job summary

DHR Health in Edinburg, TX is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Unit Clerk for FT night shifts in the Women’s Health unit. Under supervision of a licensed RN, you will support direct patient care and unit clerical duties on the CCU floor.

The role requires a CNA certification, BLS/CPR, good English communication, and strong teamwork. Prior hospital experience is preferred, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Six months to 1 year continuous patient-care experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients, family members, physicians, visitors and staff in a friendly manner.
• Transcribe physicians' orders and maintain patient charts.
• Answer phones and route calls to appropriate parties.
• Assist in clerical duties and maintain unit supplies.
