Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, Missouri is seeking candidates for the Nurse Assistant Training Program. You will provide basic patient care under nursing supervision, taking vitals, assisting with bathing, dressing, and mobility while learning in a classroom-clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3 months experience as nursing assistant or related role OR completion of Unlicensed Assistive Personnel program
• Missouri CNA license or MO CNA license must be obtained within 120 days of hire
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days
• Strong communication, time management, and problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff, including vitals, bathing, dressing, mobility, and linen changes
• Report changes in patient condition and obtain information as requested by nursing staff
• Support classroom and clinical training activities and adhere to program requirements
