Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant trainee to provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff during training. You will assist with vitals, hygiene, mobility, and linen changes while learning essential clinical skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in patient care or health care related field preferred.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff.
• Take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients, change linens and other duties as assigned.
• Obtains information on patient condition as requested by the nursing staff, and reports any changes in patient condition.
