Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care under the direction of the nursing staff. The role includes taking vitals, bathing, dressing, moving patients, and changing linens. Shifts are Day Shift, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with a 36-hour scheduled work week at CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO.

Qualifications

• Education Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience Preferred: Prior patient care or health care related experience.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days.
• Missouri CNA License or MO CNA Appendix; license must be obtained within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff.
• Take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients, change linens.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
