Job summary

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking Patient Care Technicians to join the Float Pool. This 0.9 FTE, 12-hour night shift position offers hourly pay and generous benefits. NA-C certification and MA-R licensure are required, with hospital CNA experience preferred.

CPR certification and strong customer service are essential. The Float Pool delivers care across multiple units, with opportunities for growth and ongoing training in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• NA-C required.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent nursing training experience.
• 1+ year hospital CNA experience strongly preferred.
• Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) required; Overlake will sponsor licensure upon hire.
• Health Care Provider CPR Certification.
• One-year recent hospital experience with patient contact preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer familiarity recommended.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and observation across units in the Float Pool (Medical, Surgical, Orthopedics, Telemetry, Critical Care).
• Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure outstanding patient care and experience.
• PCT duties include tasks supporting nursing staff and maintaining patient safety and comfort.
