Job summary

Overlake Hospital is seeking Patient Care Technicians for the Float Pool. This .9 FTE, 12-hour night shift position covers a 72-hour two-week schedule, including every other weekend.

The role emphasizes compassionate, professional patient care with strong communication and teamwork in Medical, Surgical, Orthopedics, Telemetry and Critical Care units. Qualified candidates will have NA-C, CPR, and MA-R readiness; hospital CNA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• NA-C certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a CNA training program or equivalent nursing training.
• 1+ year hospital CNA experience strongly preferred.
• MA-R licensure is required and sponsorship may be provided by Overlake Hospital.
• Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
• English reading/writing and computer familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Monitor and document patient status and vital signs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other departments to ensure quality care.
• Assist with patient observations and safety during shifts.
• Support nursing students/techs and participate in training opportunities.
