Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team in a hospital setting. The role includes assisting with basic patient care, data documentation, and collaboration with RNs and other staff. A Colorado CNA license and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Colorado
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic patient care (toileting, bathing, mobility, hygiene) with a focus on safety and service.
• Document patient care data and changes promptly; seek help as needed.
• Monitor patients and assist with telemetry as required by unit.
• Transport medications to RN and collaborate with the care team.
• May act as Health Unit Coordinator (phones, orders, records).
