Job summary

The State of Oklahoma's Sulphur Veterans Home is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for full-time night shift. You will support direct patient care under supervision, taking vital signs, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.

This role requires current Oklahoma CNA certification, English proficiency, and at least one year of patient-care experience. Night shift 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to record observations and activities and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct nursing tasks including taking vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Charts observations and activities, reporting pertinent changes in the patient’s condition.
• Escorts patients to and from various destinations and maintains a safe environment.
• Orders, receives and stores supplies and performs basic clerical functions.
• Provides outreach and participates in follow-up activities as needed.
