Job summary

The Clinton Veterans Home is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide for a full-time night shift under the supervision of nursing staff at the Clinton Veterans Home. Responsibilities include basic patient care, vital signs, and daily living assistance.

Shift is 6:30 PM–7:00 AM with a $20.00–$22.00/hr wage depending on experience and a $0.87/hr night differential. One year of patient care experience and CNA certification are required.

Qualifications

• One year of patient care experience is required.
• Must hold CNA certification (Oklahoma) or equivalent.
• Strong English communication and basic nursing skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Chart observations and report changes to supervisor.
• Escort patients and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Order, receive and store supplies; perform basic clerical tasks.
• Assist in follow-up activities and outreach services.
• Recruit at-risk individuals for health services.
