Good Samaritan Atkinson is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to care for residents in a long‑term care setting. You will provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision, including basic health care tasks and vital signs, while maintaining infection prevention protocols.

You must have CNA certification and a high school diploma or GED, with driving flexibility and ongoing education commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16 with prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or enrollment to obtain certification within four months.
• Annual 12 hours of continuing education and required certifications.

Responsabilités

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and vital signs.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, walking and ROM exercises.
• Assist with meals and dining; support infection prevention and PPE use.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to the RN.
• Support wellness activities and participate in committees as needed.
