Job summary

The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MVH-Montevideo) is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for night shifts to provide compassionate, person-centered care in a long-term nursing facility. You will assist with activities of daily living, ensure safety, and support residents to reach their highest functional abilities while promoting respect and dignity.

Qualifications include MN MDH CNA registry, age 18+, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Must be currently registered as a Nursing Assistant with the MDH Nursing Assistant Registry or registered by time of hire.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to communicate effectively, follow instructions, and take clear notes.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care for residents in a long-term nursing facility.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure safety and quality of care.
• Help residents attain highest functional capabilities in a caring, respectful environment.
• Support nursing staff and adhere to shift schedules, including night shifts.
