Job summary

Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center in Sun City West, AZ, is hiring a Certified Patient Care Assistant (CNA) for the Observation Unit on the night shift. The role supports inpatient/outpatient services with a focus on cardiac and medical-surgical care in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with activities of daily living, collect data, and ensure accurate charting and patient flow within the unit. Weekend/holiday rotations apply, with shift differentials where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current CNA license in state of practice is required for new hires.
• 1 year of medical clerical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and contribute to the care plan.
• Collect vital signs, input/output and other routine measurements.
• Document data and notes in the medical record; assist with admissions and discharges.
• Perform procedures under supervision including EKGs and specimen collection as trained.
• Maintain supplies and assist in unit operations and charting in EMR.
