Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ, seeks a dedicated Patient Care Assistant (CNA/LNA) for Outpatient Observation. Night shifts (6:00pm–6:30am) with fast-paced patient turnover, ongoing documentation, and collaborative care with clinical staff.

Responsibilities include vital signs, hygiene support, mobility assistance, and basic nursing tasks under supervision. Sign-on bonus of $3,000 for eligible CNAs/LNAs; weekend/night differentials apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA or LNA certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and support the patient plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Take and record vital signs and basic measurements.
• Assist with patient hygiene and nourishment as needed.
• Support with clerical duties and documentation in the EMR.
