Job summary

Garden Spot Village is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver direct care to residents during a full-time night shift (11:00 pm–7:00 am) with rotating weekends. You’ll follow care plans, assist with daily living activities and collaborate with licensed staff to ensure safety, dignity and quality care.

required PA CNA certification, training per 42 CFR 483.75, and proficiency with systems like PointClickCare and Nurse Call. Strong organization and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Meet training and competency requirements as defined in 42 CFR 483.75.
• PA certification through an approved training program and competency testing within 120 days of hire.
• Listed on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Nurse Aide Registry with no substantiated findings of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
• Treat residents with kindness and respect.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of computers, fax, telephone, copier, Nurse Call System, Security and Fire System, and PointClickCare documentation systems.
• Must work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, meals, nourishment and transportation to dining.
• Comply with policies, procedures and codes of conduct; protect resident confidentiality.
• Identify health changes and report to charge nurse promptly.
• Document care and treatment accurately in the charting system.
• Support the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
