Job summary

Shady Grove Medical Center in Rockville, MD, seeks an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant for our Float Pool II to support the mission of compassionate care. You will perform vital signs and activities of daily living under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, adapt to varied areas, and contribute to a culture of safety and patient satisfaction.

The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Active Maryland CNA license required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• One year of hospital experience preferred.
• Strong reading, writing and arithmetic skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Follow care plans as established and delegated by the Registered Nurse.
• Assist in patient care and ensure safety and cleanliness of work areas.
• Participate in education programs, meetings, and professional initiatives.
