Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant, Nursing Assistant or Nurse Apprentice to join our nursing team in the Nampa Float Pool. Schedule features 12-hour night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am with a varied schedule including weekdays, weekends and holidays.

You will support clinical staff at the unit level by performing clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination, and deliver nursing care under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification required by Idaho or completion of Trinity Nursing Assistant Program.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required at hire.
• Six months CNA experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support under supervision of licensed staff.
• Perform clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination tasks.
• Assist with personal care and comfort of patients across age groups.
