Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living Maryland Heights is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM to support residents with daily living activities and care needs.

You will collaborate with nurses and other staff, assist with mobility, meals, and documentation, and help maintain a safe, supportive environment for our elderly residents. Training and benefits are provided to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with certification board or graduate of a state-approved nursing assistant training program and passed a state-approved competency exam within 120 days of employment.
• High School Graduate or GED preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• At least one year of experience as a certified nursing assistant in long-term care preferred.
• Must express self adequately in written and oral communication and communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse(s) and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists resident with activities of daily living according to care plans and policies.
• Assists resident with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting.
• Coordinates dining room services at mealtimes, including set-up, delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and documents intake.
• Assists with weighing residents and reports changes to nurse or supervisor.
• Monitors skin condition and reports concerns to nurse/supervisor.
• Assists with toileting program activities.
• Completes flow sheets daily and documents progress as directed.
• Keeps nurse and supervisor informed of factors affecting performance.
