Job summary

Cedarhurst Wichita is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate daily personal care to residents, supporting independence and wellbeing. This full-time role involves assisting with grooming, nutrition, mobility, hygiene, and activities, while communicating with the care team and families to ensure comfort and safety.

The position requires reliability, empathy, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of an accredited CNA program required.
• One year of experience as a CNA preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with common digital tools and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including grooming, hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and social engagement.
• Take and record vital signs as directed and report changes to the care team.
• Assist residents to meal times and participate in activities.
• Help with housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff; follow care plans and directives.
