Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a CNA to provide direct personal care to residents, supporting daily living activities with sensitivity and professionalism. The role focuses on comfort, dignity, and well-being within a collaborative care team.

Responsibilities include assisting with grooming, meals, mobility, and activities, while documenting observations and communicating with families and staff to maintain high-quality care. Training and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of an accredited CNA program required.
• One year of experience as a certified nursing assistant preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with common digital tools and applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and EHRs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs including grooming, hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.
• Monitor vitals and report changes to the care team.
• Assist with transfers, turning, and safe mobility.
• Support dining, housekeeping, and recreational activities.
• Communicate observations to residents and families respectfully.

Education
