Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Wichita, KS is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care to residents, including daily living activities, grooming, and mobility support, while maintaining dignity and comfort.

You will work as part of a compassionate care team, monitor health, assist with meals, and communicate observations to the care team. Prior CNA certification and CPR/BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of an accredited CNA program required.
• One year of experience as a certified nursing assistant preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs: grooming, hygiene, dressing, nutrition.
• Respond to signals from residents via lights or intercom in a proactive manner.
• Record vitals and relevant intake/output as directed.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Support dining, housekeeping, and activity participation as needed.
• Communicate observations to the care team and families as appropriate.
