Job summary

Cedarhurst Living in Wichita, KS is hiring a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct, hands-on daily care to residents, supporting their comfort, dignity and independence. You will assist with activities of daily living, meals, mobility, and help maintain a safe, clean environment while communicating effectively with residents, families, and the care team.

This role requires a CNA program completion and a high school diploma; CPR/BLS optional; prior caregiving experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of an accredited CNA program required.
• One year of experience as a certified nursing assistant preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), web-based platforms, EHR systems, and HR-related systems as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care (grooming, hygiene, nutrition).
• Answers signal lights, bells or intercom to determine needs.
• Take and record vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and turning.
• Assist with meals and housekeeping as needed.
• Encourage participation in activities and report observations to the care team.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

CNA program/certification

One year CNA experience preferred

CPR/BLS certification preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHR
