Job summary

PACS Group is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time position in Bakersfield Post Acute. Start wage is $18 per hour, with range $18–$20 depending on experience. Provide routine daily nursing care as per care plan under supervision.

Responsibilities include resident identification, accurate charting, assistance with daily activities, meal service, mobility, and ensuring safety. CPR certification preferred; English communication required. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must possess general communication abilities in English.
• Compassion and dependability essential for resident care.
• CPR certification preferred but not mandatory at hire.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before care using wristbands or photo cards.
• Record care, observations, and activities accurately.
• Assist with daily personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting.
• Ensure call lights are answered promptly and residents are checked regularly.
• Assist with mobility and safe patient transfers.
• Provide restorative and rehabilitative care as instructed.
• Maintain clean, comfortable resident rooms and protect resident dignity.
• Monitor for signs of pressure injuries and report changes promptly.
• Assist with meals and document intake.
