Qualifications

• Must have a 10th grade education.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before care using wristbands.
• Report changes to Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Record resident care and observations.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist with daily personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting.
• Ensure call lights are answered promptly.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Provide restorative and rehabilitative care as instructed.
• Maintain clean resident rooms and dignity.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Support residents emotionally and create a calm environment.
• Report abuse or neglect immediately.
• Uphold residents' rights.
