Job summary

Masonicare in Shelton, CT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (Night Shift) to assist residents with daily living activities and personal care. You will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse to promote independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities include ADLs and IADLs support, medication cueing, safety monitoring, and participation in dining and activity programs. Night shifts with weekend rotation are required.

Qualifications

• Current State of Connecticut CNA certificate.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Night shift availability (24 hours a week, every other weekend).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care to maximize independence.
• Provide assistance with instrumental activities of daily living (housekeeping, laundry, mobility, dining support).
• Assist with medication self-administration through cueing as directed.
• Observe, report changes in residents' health and cognitive status.
• Support dining services and participate in resident-centered activities.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in safety protocols.
