Job summary

Morganfield Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for the night shift (7 PM–7 AM). The role focuses on meeting residents' personal care needs, assisting with daily living activities, bathing, dressing, grooming, and ensuring safety and comfort per care plans.

Successful completion of a State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program and good standing in the state registry are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents' needs and ensures call lights are within reach of resident.
• Gives direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming of residents.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Assists with lifting, positioning and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
• Feeds residents requiring help and records meal intake.
• Takes and records temperatures, blood pressure, pulse rates, respiration rates, height, weight, and food and fluid intake and output.
