Job summary

Novant Health in Danbury, NC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, hands-on care for residents in a skilled nursing setting overnight. You will work closely with nurses to support daily living activities and promote dignity and safety for residents.

As a CNA you will assist with personal care, observe changes in condition, document care, and collaborate with the care team on individualized plans while maintaining a clean, respectful environment on a part-time night

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: 1 year of experience in Assisted Living facilities (long-term care or assisted living) is required.
• Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program; listed as NA I; Medication Safety - AME; NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care and mobility.
• Provide compassionate care while maintaining resident comfort, privacy, and dignity.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes to the nursing team.
• Document care and assistance provided according to established procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents.
• Work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse.
• Collaborate with the care team to support each resident’s individualized plan of care.
