• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification with State Board, or in process within four months of date into the position.
• Annual continuing education requirements.
• In applicable states, registered with UAP Registry.
• May be classified as Sanford Category II Driver depending on responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• The NA provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assists with transferring, repositioning, and mobility using proper technique.
• Assists with meals, hydration, and dining to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Documents resident interactions and communicates condition changes to the charge nurse.
• Supports wellness and recreational programs and may participate in committees.
