Job summary

Good Samaritan Miller is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in our long-term care facility. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and support the nursing team under RN supervision in a Christian nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or in the process of obtaining certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Annual 12 hours of continuing education and ongoing competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of an RN.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital signs, and basic health care needs.
• Assist residents with transfer, positioning, mobility, meals, and documentation as required.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the charge nurse and participate in wellness activities.
