Job summary

Good Samaritan-Miller is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and support the care plan under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include documenting interactions, ensuring infection prevention, and assisting with mobility and dining, while providing compassionate psychosocial support to residents. This role participates in ongoing education and program activities at the facility.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or in process.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to obtain CNA certification within four months of date into position.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic health care tasks.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to nursing staff.
• Support infection control and use PPE as required.
