Job summary

Good Samaritan-Miller seeks a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You’ll assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support the nursing team under an RN’s supervision.

The role requires CNA certification (or in progress within 4 months), a minimum age of 16, and completion of required competency testing. Night shifts offer differential pay and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Must have CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or be in the process of obtaining certification within four months.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, dining, and recording vital signs.
• Support transfer techniques, ROM exercises, and provide psychosocial support.
