Job summary

Southern Health Partners, Inc. is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Certified Medication Aide for a full-time night shift at Madison County Jail, Huntsville, Alabama.

You will work 12-hour rotating shifts from 5:45 PM to 6:30 AM, including every other weekend, with night and weekend shift differentials and a sign-on/retention bonus. Receive training in a structured correctional healthcare setting, assisting with intake, vital signs,

Qualifications

• Requires CMA or CCMA certification.
• Experience with patient intake and vitals is preferred.
• Ability to assist with medication administration within certification scope.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake, assessments, and vital signs.
• Support medication administration within your certification, authorized duties, and applicable regulations.
• Prepare patients for provider visits, examinations, and treatments.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
• Assist with medication passes and routine healthcare duties.
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition and respond appropriately to urgent medical needs.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate, quality patient care.
