Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor for nights (7:00pm-7:30am) in Chicago, IL. The role involves administrative oversight, staff training, and direct patient care as needed, ensuring high-quality unit operation.

The incumbent will collaborate with the unit Director/Manager, lead performance improvement efforts, and orient new staff while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. BSN preferred and BLS/ACLS required on hire.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
• CCRN if ICU experience desired (facility training)
• NRP required 90 days after hire (non-OB facilities)

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support and supervise department staff.
• Collaborate with the unit Director/Manager on operations and training.
• Direct, supervise and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient unit functions.
• Oversee orientation and training of personnel.
• Direct patient care when needed within scope of practice.
