Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science or allied health fields required or equivalent.
• Clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Employs positive patient identification procedures to ensure specimen integrity and pre-/post-analytical testing.
• Performs testing across chemistry, coagulation, hematology, serology and microbiology per procedure manual.
• Reviews and documents results, expediting critical values to clinicians.
• Maintains, calibrates and troubleshoots equipment; inventories reagents and supplies.
• Trains and supervises laboratory assistants and clerks as needed.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
