Job summary

Kansas Medical Center is seeking a 2nd shift Clinical Coordinator to orchestrate hospital-wide patient flow and staffing across departments. The role will manage admissions, discharges, and transfers, adjusting nursing assignments based on unit acuity and sick calls.

Some weekend and holiday nights may be required. Qualifications include an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and RN license, with BLS/ACLS and additional certifications such as PALS, TNCC, Conscious Sedation, and NIH

Qualifications

• RN license required by Kansas State Board of Nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Additional certifications: PALS, TNCC, Conscious Sedation, NIH Stroke Scale.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hospital-wide patient flow and staffing ratios.
• Serve as a resource for night shift staff and bedside teams.
• Facilitate admissions, discharges, and transfers; adjust assignments by unit acuity.
• Assist with bedside nursing and manage staffing shortages; may include weekends/holidays.
