RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Clinical Care Technician to join the Medical Unit-I at RWJ Hamilton in Hamilton, NJ. The role involves nursing support, vital signs, and patient mobility, working on the night shift with a 36-hour/week schedule.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, a CNA certificate or clinical nursing experience, and current BLS. Equal Opportunity Employer. Previous CNA experience preferred and some holidays required.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Nursing assistant certification (CNA) or clinical experience preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Provide bedside care and basic nursing support under supervision.
• Document patient information in the EHR with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Communicate with patients, families, and health care team to coordinate care plans.
• Assist with emergency response using Basic Life Support (BLS) when needed.
• Support patient care tailored to age and safety considerations.
• Contribute to patient plan of care from admission to discharge.
• Maintain professional demeanor and collaborate with nurses and physicians.
