Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Clinical Care Technician for the Main Hospital in New Brunswick. The role supports RNs with hands-on patient care, vital signs, mobility, and daily needs, in a fast-paced medical-surgical setting. Night shift, 11pm–7:30am, 5 shifts/week (40 hours).

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and a current BLS certification. CNA or nursing assistant experience is preferred. The position pays hourly with a NJ wage range of $20.82–$29.67 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Nursing assistant experience or CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide nursing care including taking vital signs and assisting with bedside care.
• Monitor vital signs and track patient health status.
• Document patient information accurately in EHR while maintaining confidentiality.
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans.
