Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health in New Brunswick seeks a Clinical Care Technician (CCT) to join our nursing team on Medical Surgical Unit VI. You will support RNs with hands-on care, vital signs, mobility and daily living activities, while promoting a safe, compassionate patient environment.

This role requires high school diploma, current BLS, and CNA experience preferred. Schedule is 36 hours weekly across 3 shifts, from 7pm to 7:30am, with every other weekend and some holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; BLS certification current.
• Nursing assistant experience or CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take and monitor vital signs (BP, pulse, respiration, temperature).
• Provide hands-on patient care including mobility and basic activities of daily living.
• Document patient information accurately in EHR systems.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care.
