Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Winchester Hospital in the northwest Boston suburbs is a 223-bed regional facility delivering comprehensive care. This CNA role is 40 hours weekly, night shift with every other weekend and holiday rotation, and combines clinical and administrative duties.

Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED; CNA or nursing student with clinical rotation completed; and Winchester Hospital training program graduate, with admin experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and staff.
• Basic computer literacy for charting and documentation.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to support patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative assistance on the unit.
• Perform basic procedures to support patient care and safety.
• Welcome and orient patients, family members and significant others.
• Provide administrative support so the care team can focus on patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical charts and handle necessary forms, copies and faxes.
