Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Registered Charge Nurse for the Acute Care MedSurg unit (FT Nights, 7pm-7am) at our facility. You will direct the unit’s daily activities, oversee nursing staff, and partner with leadership to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure, BLS on day one, and 1 year of nursing experience (2 preferred). ACLS/PALS may be required depending on the service area; BSN is preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing program with ADN/ Diploma; BSN preferred.
• Current Georgia RN license and BLS required day 1.
• National certification preferred; ACLS/PALS may be required by service area.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily unit activities to ensure safe care.
• Lead staff scheduling, patient flow, and resource management.
• Provide mentorship and support to team members.
• Collaborate with physicians and leaders to uphold standards.
