Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Charge Nurse- Acute Care- MedSurg (FT Nights) to lead the unit during a 7pm-7am shift, ensuring safe, high-quality care and efficient operations. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an ADN or Diploma (BSN preferred).
• Current Georgia RN license; BLS required on first day of employment.
• National certification in specialty preferred (ACLS/PALS may be required).

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily unit activities during night shift to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Lead staff scheduling, unit flow, and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams; participate in governance and survey readiness.
• Mentor and develop team members to build clinical leadership and teamwork.
