Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, WA, is hiring a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for the night shift in the Sterile Processing Department. The role covers decontamination, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of all reprocessed items and equipment, including full surgical instrument trays.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma with a Surgical Processing Technician course preferred, and must obtain CRCST or CBSPD certification within one year.

Qualifications

• Education should include High School level studies and Surgical Processing Technician Course completion strongly preferred.
• Must obtain CRCST certification within one year of hire date; CBSPD acceptable.
• One year of sterile processing experience in a acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in the English Language.
• Basic knowledge of decontamination and sterilization procedures.

Responsabilités

• Decontaminate, assemble, package, and sterilize all reprocessed items and equipment, including full surgical instrument trays.
• Develop and maintain systems and projects under the direction of the shift supervisor.
• Assist and train new personnel during their training period.
