Job summary

Overlake Hospital seeks a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for the Sterile Processing Department. You will decontaminate, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays, ensuring safety and readiness for procedures.

Work full-time nights, 40 hours per week, with shift from 10pm to 6:30am. CRSCT/CBSPD certification is required or obtained within 12 months, and at least one year of sterile processing experience is preferred. Join amission-driven team at Overlake.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Sterile Processing course preferred.
• Must obtain CRSCT certification within one year of hire.
• Current CRCST or CBSPD certification required.
• Experience in sterile processing in acute care preferred.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, package, and sterilize reprocessed items and surgical trays.
• Develop and maintain systems and projects under shift supervisor.
• Work with team to ensure timely processing and quality control.
• Assist training of new staff and handle non-routine tasks.
