Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Ohio is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for the night shift (7 days on - 7 days off). Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with unit dose dispensing, sterile and non-sterile compounding, medication packaging, inventory control, billing, and use of automated technology.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician registration with Ohio State Board.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills.
• Aptitude in ratios, proportions, math operations.
• Desire to advance toward certification.

Responsibilities

• Build identity within the Pharmacy Team and culture.
• Undergo role-specific training; assist with sterile and non-sterile compounding, packaging, and dispensing support.
• Assist dispensing via Automated Dispensing Cabinets on patient care units.
• Support inventory control and billing processes.
• Process daily pharmacy department orders and ensure proper stock rotation.
