Mount Carmel Health System in Ohio is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in timely and accurate provision of medications. The role includes sterile and non-sterile compounding, packaging, inventory control, and use of automated systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Current registration with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Strong communication and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish a working identity with our Pharmacy Team.
• Prepare sterile products (including chemotherapy) using aseptic technique.
• Prepare non-sterile products (including hazardous medications).
• Repackage bulk oral medications using Parata Systems and robots.
• Facilitate medication dispensing via Automated Dispensing Cabinets on patient care units.
• Assist in inventory control and billing; support patient billing processes.
