Job summary

Bethany Home Association in Lindsborg, KS is seeking a Part-Time Certified Medication Aide for night shifts. You will dispense medications, monitor vital signs, and report changes to the on-duty nurse, while maintaining confidentiality and safety.

Responsibilities include PRN meds, maintaining a clean cart, and adhering to infection control and abuse prevention policies. Kansas CNA and Medication Aide certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the five rights of medication administration.
• Ability to identify side effects and drug interactions.
• Organize and prioritize tasks; document per policy.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications as ordered by physician and take vital signs as ordered.
• Administer PRN meds and observe/ report changes to the nurse.
• Maintain a clean, stocked medication cart and confidentiality at all times.
• Follow Bethany Home policies on safety, infection control and abuse prevention.
• Complete in-service training and stay current on medication certification.
