Americare Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide safe, accurate medication administration and compassionate daily care to our residents on the evening shift in Great Bend, KS. 8-hour shifts are available, with PRN options to fill scheduling gaps and growth potential.

The role involves working under licensed nursing supervision, ensuring medications are given correctly, monitoring residents, and delivering care with dignity and respect in a home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; CMA program completion required.
• Active CMA certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Verify resident identity prior to medication administration and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions or concerns promptly.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, intake, and output as ordered.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support team members by providing assistance as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with tours as requested.
