Job summary

Bethany Home Association in Lindsborg, KS is seeking a Part-Time Certified Medication Aide for night shifts. You will dispense medications, monitor vital signs, and report changes to the on-duty nurse, while maintaining confidentiality and safety.

Responsibilities include PRN meds, maintaining a clean cart, and adhering to infection control and abuse prevention policies. Kansas CNA and Medication Aide certifications are required.

Dispense medication in a safe and timely manner to Assisted Living residents requiring this service. Practice the Five Rights of Medication Administration: 1.) Right resident, 2.) Right medication, 3.) Right time, 4.) Right route, 5.) Right dose. Observe and report any change in resident’s condition to Charge Nurse. Take vital signs as ordered. Maintain a clean and well-stocked medication cart. Document medication administration according to Bethany Home Assisted Living policy. Understand and maintain confidentiality. Manage routine chores, such as laundry, and housekeeping as needed.**RESPONSIBILITIES:**1. Have knowledge of, and pass medications as ordered by physician2. Take vital signs as ordered.3. Knowledge and practice of Bethany Home Assisted Living safety procedures, and infection control practices.
