Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Broadway, VA is seeking a Feed Haul Driver to safely transport feed to our poultry farms, operating and maintaining commercial hauling equipment and adhering to delivery schedules to support production needs.

You will collaborate with feed mill personnel, live production teams, and farm staff to ensure accurate deliveries, proper documentation, and effective communication while following transportation regulations and company safety policies.

Qualifications

• 12 months of verifiable tractor/trailer experience within the previous 36 months
• If the driver has a positive test for drugs or alcohol in the previous 5 years, they are not eligible
• Ability to communicate effectively with others and follow directions

Responsibilities

• Operate feed haul trucks safely and efficiently
• Conduct equipment inspections and report issues
• Maintain product quality and integrity during transport
• Communicate with associates, maintenance staff, growers, and supervisors
• Keep trucks and work areas clean and orderly
• Follow the housekeeping schedule and use required PPE
• Foster teamwork and a positive work environment
• Other duties as assigned
