Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking an Equipment Transport Driver to safely move heavy equipment to farms, shops, and plants using a low boy trailer. You will work nights with possible weekend hours, ensuring on-time deliveries while complying with safety, biosecurity, and company policies.

Collaboration with live haul and farm staff is essential. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, maintaining trucking standards, and clear communication with team members.

Qualifications

• 12 months verifiable tractor/trailer experience in the last 36 months.
• Positive drug/alcohol test in the last 5 years disqualifies.
• Must be able to operate a manual CMV.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Conduct equipment inspections and report issues to the Supervisor.
• Maintain product quality and integrity during transport.
• Communicate with farm staff and maintenance teams about conditions.
• Fuel, hook/unhook, and keep equipment and area clean.
• Follow PPE and housekeeping schedules.
• Foster teamwork and perform other duties as assigned.
